First and foremost, a massive thank you to everyone who has checked in and sent well-wishes recently. As some of you may be aware, our deliveries and collections were slightly affected this week due to a family medical emergency. I am incredibly relieved to share that it is now resolved, and my mum is doing very well. We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding!

Between that and the glorious (but intense) heatwave, it has certainly been an eventful few days in the Webb-Wood household. Alongside everything else, we have also had the added challenge of nursing our dog through her own recovery.

Our gorgeous Luna recently underwent orthopaedic surgery, which means she is currently on strict crate rest for ten weeks. Trying to keep her calm and still while running a business has certainly kept us on our toes, but we are taking it all one day at a time!

💡 Laundry Tip: Banishing Smoke Odours

Whether it’s from a neighbour's summer BBQ, a garden bonfire, or the lingering effects of the recent dry-weather wildfires, smoke is one of the most stubborn odours to get out of fabric.

If you are tackling smoke-smelling laundry at home, avoid hot water—it can actually "bake" the smell into the fabric. Instead, try adding half a cup of white vinegar to your wash cycle alongside your regular detergent, and wash on a cool setting.

If the smell simply won't budge, hand it over to us. Our professional detergents and temperature-controlled washes will completely neutralise the odours!

We love championing the brilliant independent businesses right here in South Wales. This week, I want to give a massive shoutout to Parc Y Deri Farm.

If you are looking for a fantastic family day out to make the most of this late summer sunshine, this is the place to be. We recently visited for some sunflower picking, and it was an absolute joy watching Tristan run freely across the wide-open fields and play on their beautiful wooden swings.

It’s such a wonderfully set-up spot with plenty of space to roam, picnic benches to relax at, and brilliant photo opportunities. Best of all, after you’ve picked your bright summer blooms, you can sit back and treat yourselves to some delicious ice cream and a great cup of coffee. A true local gem!
