Important Schedule Update
Please note that I will be temporarily out of action from Monday, 29th June through to Friday, 10th July due to a planned operation. My diary is now fully booked right up until this break.
If you had a regular collection scheduled during this window, your appointment will have already been rescheduled. Please keep an eye on your customer account portal, where you can easily view your upcoming dates or amend your bookings to suit your schedule.
If you have an absolute, urgent laundry emergency while I am fully booked, please do get in touch. I will always do my absolute best to fit you in if I can!
Preparing for the Heatwave
With the weather forecasters predicting a significant heatwave hitting South Wales in the coming days, I wanted to share a few quick tips for keeping our UK homes cool. Keeping your curtains or blinds drawn on south-facing windows during the day, and only opening windows once the outside temperature drops in the evening, makes a huge difference. Freezing a hot water bottle to pop in your bed is also an absolute game-changer for those sticky, tropical nights!
Most importantly, please remember to keep yourselves and your pets well hydrated. And as a quick sustainability tip: if you find yourself with half-empty glasses of water lying around the house at the end of the day, tip them onto your houseplants or garden pots rather than down the sink. It is a simple, brilliant way we can all practice a bit of water conservation while the weather is dry.
A Month of Reflection and Celebration
June is a deeply poignant time of year for me. Not only are we celebrating Pride Month, but this weekend also marks my third Father's Day. To me, Pride is about much more than celebration; it is about visibility, empathy, and dedicating ourselves to supporting highly vulnerable people, ensuring everyone has a safe, loving environment to thrive.
As I reflect on my own journey this Father's Day, I want to send a caring message to everyone spending time with the loved ones in their life—whether you are celebrating a father, a step-father, a wonderful father figure, or quietly remembering loved ones who have passed on.

Summer Laundry Tip
With the sun finally shining, sun cream stains on collars and cuffs are inevitable. Because sun cream is oil-based, standard detergent often won't shift it. The trick: gently rub a little neat washing-up liquid into the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes to break down the oils before running it through the wash.
...Or, save yourself the hassle entirely and just leave it in the bag for me to take care of!
