When my little one finally arrived, my entire world shifted. I desperately wanted to be present for every milestone, every school run, and every bedtime story. But as a parent, I also carried another deep responsibility: I wanted to show my son by example that hard work, dedication, and helping others are the foundations of a meaningful life. I needed a way to build a future for him, without sacrificing my time with him.

I realised that across Newport, Cardiff, and South East Wales, so many other families were feeling that exact same pressure., so many other families were feeling that exact same pressure. Between work, chores, and endless to-do lists, parents were missing out on their own weekends. The laundry basket was always full, and the time was always too short.
