A Little Update From Us
Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who has sent kind messages wishing Nigel well for his operation. It has meant a great deal to us both.
He ended up needing a little more surgery than originally anticipated, but thankfully he is doing well and recovering steadily. We are still on track for Pressed & Fresh to re-open as planned, and I cannot wait to get back out on the road, seeing our lovely customers again, and restoring a little calm to the laundry baskets of South Wales.
We Re-open on 10th July
Our return schedule is already filling quickly, so if you would like a collection shortly after we re-open, please book early to avoid missing your preferred slot.

Laundry Tip of the Week: Softer, Fresher Towels
🧺 Skip the Fabric Softener on Towels
It sounds counterintuitive, but fabric softener can actually coat towel fibres over time, making them less absorbent and leaving them feeling heavier rather than fluffier.
For fresher towels at home, use the correct amount of detergent, avoid overloading the machine, and give towels enough space to dry fully. A little white vinegar in the rinse cycle every so often can also help remove detergent build-up and bring back softness.
